And coincidentally, I will enjoy watching the Patriots get eliminated from the tournament this year.

The NY Daily news wrote the comment that Brady enjoyed the Jets demise. He never said it.

Brady, appearing in his weekly spot on Boston sports-talk radio station WEEI, was asked Tuesday if he or his Patriots teammates enjoyed the demise of the Jets and he answered the way Pats fans hoped he would: Yes, he did enjoy it.

Here is what he actually said. I would assume any Jet player interviewed would have been happy to beat the Pats twice.

“There's a few websites I like where they have all the New York papers so I read a few of those articles,” Brady said in the paid appearance. “I would be remiss not to. They had a tough year and I'm glad we beat them twice. That was a huge key to our season, that win against the Jets in the Meadowlands. We'll see them next year. They're not going anywhere. I'm sure they'll come back with just as much confidence next year.”

Not sure why some people are up in arms. Brady's legitimizing the Jets by saying he hates them and pays attention to them.

I thought this was the relevance that (some) people love Ryan for providing?

Could care less about Brady but I do have to say Bernard Pollard is one of my favorite NFL players.

He did not say anything out of line. Too much to do over nothing. We did it to ourselves. I know Rex and the Jets players would have loved a collapse by NE, but lets face it, they have a better organization that does not put up with players BS.

Sanchez would love sweeping the Pats too. Its a rivalry and they owned us this year. This team is eating dirt right now.

The NYJ players, staff, and FO deserve anything that he says about us. We just have to wait our turn I suppose.

That is what a good hc does, take a poor defense and injuries in abundance and still manage to get a grip on the situation. And it does help to have a qb.

Pretty accurate, we talk shit all season and we didn't back up shit. We allowed the fucking Delaware Wing T Offense march 95 yards down the field led by the ghost of Amos Alonzo Stagg to beat us in Denver, we got blown out by Philly and shut down by the Giants and a glorified practice squader so we deserve all the dirt piled on. Maybe somebody with some pride will wake up and realize how embarrassing this is but I doubt it, these guys are all millionaires and I'm sure most of them have already forgotten about the season.
