That is why i hate these shows. They ride the jock of the last champion team. They lost all credibility with saying dumb crap like that.

Martin was an overall better player than Bettis. On the field, Bettis was better at one thing- short-yardage situations.

Sadly, I bet Bettis will get in on the first ballot and Martin will wait due to Bettis' personality and the fact he won a Super Bowl.

how could they make such a ridiculous statement like that. Martin's been incredible for 10yrs. 14,000+ yards is not a sure-fire famer? Moron's

It's quite possible he won't be a first ballot hall of famer, because he never won a SB and because he's a Jet. Look at Joe Klecko--Pro Bowler at three different positions, number retired, and still no HOF.

This is the response that these guys want. They are the Howard Stern's of sports talk, AKA Shock jock. The only reson why they have a job is because we live in a society that loves contraversy. Good thing Rome and other fools like him do not get to vote for the Hall or you would see guy like Steve Deberg and Cunningham in the hall.

That moron just entered the complete asshole zone. That is worse than a flaming asshole. Much worse than being a partial asshole. In fact, he is now a complete flaming screaming asshole. He's quite ugly, too.

While I like Jerome a lot, he wasn't the reason the Steelers won the SB last year. He was arguably the 3rd best running back in the game on the day it was played, so he had no impact on the outcome. And if Roethlisberger hadn't made the tackle in Indy, JB would have gone down in history as as big a goat as Ernest Byner.

Don't worry: C-mart is a first ballot HOF. Half the battle is being liked by the sportwriters, and there's not one writer who he has offended or proved to lose their respect. Look at recent blogs by Hutchinson and Berger to see how much he's respected locally, which is usually the biggest hurdle.

As I posted on the thread not a hall of famer, it wasnt rome that made this comments but that big kiss ass jason whitlock. I'm sure his breath as he was talking smelled like herms ass cause 5 minutes prior he was kissing it and acting as though herm edwards was the godsend the chiefs need. Direct quote "I can't imagine a Herm Edwards team will have the same defensive issues the team has been plagued with". Since when is Herm a master at defense? If anything his defenses always underachieved in new york. Unbelievable.

One of his ears sticks out. What's up with that? A thumbsucker, and he's doing that ear folding action with his other hand, that's what.
