the Colts may not have been Super Bowl contenders without Manning, but being the worst team in the league reveals how poorly the Polian's assembled a team around him. it would be hard to justify not firing them since it is evident they won solely because of Manning, not any shrewd personnel decisions they made.
It should mean it. The new GM obviously will want to start rebuilding the team with his vision, keeping Manning around will delay that and not allow it to happen. The new GM could pickup this team, but then have to rebuild again when Manning leaves which is difficult. Ive been saying it forever, Manning will be cut. At this point I believe Manning and Isray willl sit down, talk, and conclude with Manning leaving Indy.
poor polian was hamstrung with at least 8 or 9 years of straight above 25 picks. how much money is pushed forward if they cut manning? i wonder if htey say fuck it take the hit have a crap team next year with no money invested get another top 5 pick and just start from scratch with luck and another top 5er and some cap space to boot.
He's going to draft Luck and start building a team around him while Manning keeps them relevant contenders. Luck would lose 12 games with the current roster as a rookie.

Turner stays...not good for us and getting rid of Schitty. Probably one of the people who would have been considered.
Probably right and hopefully that means Rex goes back to calling the defense at least for a year or two.
