Rex and ownership want a "Green Out" Fuck that. Wear whatever you want, just make sure you're loud and cheering on the D when we're on defense. Make Jetlife as much of a homefield as we possibly can. The question is, will we win? I stopped making predictions after the Doug Brien game in '04, interested to see what everyone else thinks. I'll be at Jetlife at 9am, i hope everyone else with tickets will be as well.
28-21 Jets I think we'll get the lead early and they'll trail closely behind the whole game. We've been doing better on opening drives lately. Without that Holmes fumble I think we score on our first possession last game, we were rolling. At the very least I'm expecting it to be close, but I do think we win this one.
Yeah fuck wearing green, thats not a home color who the hell do the Jets think they are Cant take this topic seriously after that, but I think it will be a close game. The D will finally show up late in the fourth quarter and stop Eli to win the game. 21-17 Jets
the team has been too unpredictable to make a prediction, i'm just hoping they ground and pound and stay with it. the giants can be run on and on and on. if the jets put the ball in sanchez hands, giants win! sanchez is a game manager type qb, if they get away from that, he's too inconsistant to expect to come out with a victory.
38-12 giants: -shotty leaves hunter on JPP 1 on 1 all game, he has 5 sacks -we turn it over 4 times resulting in easy scores -giants o starts slow, but defense wears down having to be on the field so much basically, the eagles game all over again
I don't know about you guys but I cannot even think about a prediction---I mean if any of you actually have a clue on how this game is going to go more power to you! 2 dreadful teams rite now with oceans of problems
Giants can't run the ball, and they can't stop the run ... or the pass either for that matter. Our offense can't light them up like the Saints and Packers did, but we should have some long, sustained drives in this game that eat up a bunch of the clock. Hopefully we hold onto the goddamn ball, but I'm expecting at least one fumble out of Sanchez. Jets 24 Giants 20
2-0 jets. Jets win on a safety as time expires. Shotty given another contract extension. Rex gives Turner game ball for giving up fewer than 10 sacks. Rex declares Jets are team to beat. All is good.
why wouldn't you wanna wear green? Jets 27 Giants 17 Greene, 107 Yds, 1 TD Plax, 78 Yds, 2 TDs Holmes, 96 Yds Sanchez, 18/27, 204 Yds, 2 TDs thrown
I have a bad feeling so Im gonna just keep my bullshit to myself. Side note: I HATE the fact that Rex said if the Jets win its a good on his players, if they lose, its on him. I just cannot see, no matter how I try to dissect it, how that is anything but a free pass for the Jets. I just dont like it.
Me too on both points. The bad feeling comes from the fact that while the Giants are probably playing worse than the Jets right now, and have no TE, which of course been a huge problem area for the Jets that should be absent here, there seems to be one element of consistency that is adverse. I see a pattern with Sanchez where he has good and bad streaks. If you look back, he seems to follow games where he got rattled with another bad game. Now FTR I do not primarily blame him in the Eagles game for what were clearly problems with Hunter in particular, and lack of effective pass blocking overall. But it is also true he was rattled. I give MS credit for going back in there after taking hard sacks. He's not fragile like Pennington. But he does seem to have a hangover from being rattled. He had a hangover from the Ravens game, and from the second NE game. Last year he was poor in the Miami game the week after NE rattled him. I fear that continues on Saturday. If the Jets turn it over, they lose. I think the Giants, despite their poor pass D and other areas, their poor play of late, do not make the same mistakes the Jets do too often.
