today was obviously a debacle. Luckily we still control our own destiny. Say what you want about how we dont even deserve to make the playoffs, but ...fuck it. lets get in and see what happens. Now this week against the giants is obviously HUGE. we get to play for ny and for our playoffs lives. we are both playing pretty shitty football so its even. As fans we can't really control anything- we can't call the plays and we can't make the plays, But we can be loud. Its clear that when our house is rocking the jets play inspired, better football. The jets are definitely banking on playing the giants in "our house" as opposed to in a blue met life stadium. its gotta be absolutely batshit crazy. no fucking booing before a game. Most importantly: IF YOU HAVE TICKETS AND YOU CANT GO, DONT GIVE THEM TO A FUCKING GIANTS FAN. . the more giants fans, the more demoralizing. its an advantage to the giants because they can be "away" in their own house. but don't make that any more of an advantage than it has to be.
By next Sunday gametime, people will be supporting the players and be going apeshit as you say. We still control our own destiny. And we're still fans. At the end of the day, that takes precedence. If things go bad early, it could get ugly, especially with all the Giants fans in the house. At the same time, all the Giants fans that will be there could cause Jets fans to be even louder in response.
Its a Saturday and for all the marbles. Screw the family, screw yout stupid religon, be selfish and go to the game. don't be a pussy and sell them because its Xmas. That's lame. I got pressure from the family. I am Jew but married an Italian so we the fish thing on Xmas eve. Majoe heat for not going but she knows i don't miss games and would never miss the ZGiant game. Its easy. be selfish, we are men, its something we are good at. Willl be at the lot early as hel
One thing that doesn't matter one way or the other is the desire to stick it to the Giants in the first meaningful game in the building. Even after an ugly loss and with the playoffs still dependent on our own performance, it's time to win the bogus ass snoopy trophy regular season style
We knocked the Giants out in 88 with nothing to play for...this time a win gets them a step closer to the playoffs for the third straight year - 1st time in team history!
