I hope everyone realizes that when/if he does return to the league, he will not be the same player that he was.
Its different then an injury where he hurt his arm or something. I don't think the injury will effect his ability to make all of the throws. It will more effect him in that he won't want to get hit.
He'll be fine. He already hates getting hit and is probably the least hit QB in the league on an annual basis, via pocket presence and quick release.
Not sure about this. His film study/prep will not have changed, he'll only be cleared to play if the injury is completely healed. Unless I hear reports that his arm is weakened or he's lost accuracy because of the neck surgery, I'm going to assume its back to business for Manning.
this is his third such surgery - anyone aware of any marked fall off in performance after the previous two?
I think most of you know how much I like Peyton but it's just bad for the game when players like him are out. I hope he can come back and play at a high level but I'm not sure he will be able to.
