If we run a lot of man coverage that means everyone has there backs to Vick when we're in man coverage. I don't know about you, but I'm not overly confident in our front 7 containing Vick in that scenario. If we run zone that puts a lot of pressure on our shitty safeties. We have a hard time covering TE's and running backs and also have had trouble with speedy RB's hitting the edge on us. I hope I'm wrong, but I see us giving up a lot more points than usual this week. I'm wondering if we don't see a lot more of Maybin this week.
I agree with this...the Eagles are just not a good team unlike Reids old teams with Dawkins & all that heart they had,now one week they look like Buffalo the next they look like the old Rams bottomline they are not built to withstand a tough slugfest. As long as we don't let their beast pass rushers have a field day we win...Mccoy may get one or two good runs but he is not averaging more than 3.5 against us....
I am real worried about their speed where they can gain chunks of yards at a time with screen passes and when vick runs. They have the 3 things that hurt us most on defense, speedy running back, mobile qb, good receiving/blocking tight end. However I think our offense can keep them off the field and force them to throw to stay in the game and that is where we can force Vick to make bad decision.
I'm assuming you're thinking Maybin for his speed but wouldn't the defense be better served to have the rushing linemen be disciplined and stay in their lanes versus Vick. It seems to me that Maybin is the type of pass rusher that Vick can take advantage of.
Vick can take care of any kind of pass rusher if he is healthy and has decent protection. the fins had 4 sacks including 2 by taylor. The fins turned the ball over 3 times in a row in the 2d q and got blown out - game over. Eagles D played well. But the week before Marshawn Lynch abused the Eagles. Hopefully the Jets can run the ball like Seattle did, to me that will be the key to this game - can the Jets control the LOS and spring Greene into that second level of the Eagles D.

If the offense keeps performing at the level of the past two games I don't see us scoring less than 24 points in this game. However, the defense is what really concerns me. The speed and ability that Vick brings the field can be dangerous. However, he is a turnover machine. We win the the turnover battle = win the game. Jets 34 Eagles 24
Its very important that our Pass rushers maintain the integrity of thier lanes in this game. Sending a 5ht guy late will be key to the pressure. If we get good pressure Vick is going to put the ball up were guys like Revis and Cro canmake a play on it. I'm hopefull for this one.
Throw the Eagles shitty record out of the window for this one.. Our Olin played ok against Buffalo and Washington, but was pretty bad vs KC. Mark gets hurt, our season is done. If we lose this one, our season is done. It won't be easy like some of you think it will be. The Eagles are no pushover. Especially at home, and with Vick back. Vick is going to be a handful.

Vick didn't practice yesterday, although Reid said he's going to start. DeVito will play. Imo the key to the game will be if the Jets can consistently run it. Which they should be able to do. And no turnovers, as always.
I just get a bad feeling about this Eagles game...They are a skilled team like the Bills. But the Bills are the Bills and playing in Philadelphia is different. I just think it is Lesean Mccoy who worries me
Let no one forget what Tebow did to us late in the game. If the Eagles are close at the end there will be some nail bitting going on. The McCoy and Vick double threat are always a worry. Our aggressive defense needs to be careful here. Either one of those two can break it out the back door. Jets are playing playoff football now. They have to win out to the Superbowl. Just win baby.

this game will resemble last years steelers game, hopefully though the jets have the ball and are running the clock out instead of stopping a drive. Fuck that!!! The Jets are going to stuff an apple in Vick's mouth and each take turns turning him over the fire, Jet's are gonna kick ass!! Book it!!
