So I just got a phonecall from a friend of my fathers saying he has two extra tickets if my dad and I want to go to the game. I said to myself, "does a bear shit in the woods?"

Being down 14 with 8 min to go and 3 timeouts in the NE game is hardly "virtually over" but hey, dont let the facts get in the way. You can say it was "virtually over" after that pick 6 though....

This is the truth.

 

We just cut it to 7 then watchesd the D easily allow NE to go down and score another TD to make it a 14 pt game again- that is deflating. We were also in a 2nd and 20 from our own 10 yd line w/ NE having all the momentum. It was virtually over thanks to the defense.

 

Same as the playoff game up there in the Mangini year. We got it close, I think to 7, then we let Brady & co go on an 8-minute drive to basically ice the game. Regardless, people wanted to blame a Chad INT after that when we had to force throws late in the 4th quarter down 14--most of the same people who now want to blame Sanchez for everything, by the way.

 

I was in the upper deck (341) but I didn't hear any boos from where I was. It wasn't exactly deafening applause either, but seemed like a pretty positive reaction. The crowd is pretty lame for the intros in general.

 

Crowd reaction did not sound good on TV, pretty disappointing.

 

We cheer him every week. Don't let the media have you believe that the few diks who booed were the majority.
