im in an odd league where the scoring heavily favors QB's. (wasnt aware of this at draft time)

ive managed to get an 8-4 record with having nobody but Alex Smith and Kevin Kolb at QB. even more impressive(impressive my record, dumb kind of rule though) is they allow QB's as flex

    QB- Alex Smith, Kevin Kolb
RB- AP, Matt Forte, Demarco Murray
    RB
WR- Greg Jennings, Roddy White, Jordy Nelson, Percy Harvin, Michael Crabtree, Lance Moore
    WR
    TE Jimmy Graham, Brandon Pettigrew
    OP(flex)
    K- Matt Bryant, Mike Nugent
    D/ST - Min, Was

Trying to pry Cam Newton from my friends dad (league leader 10-2)

QB- Tom Brady, Matthew Stafford, Cam Newton, Shaun Hill, Brain Hoyer
RB- Deangelo Williams, Lesean McCoy, Beanie Wells, Peyton Hillis
    RB
WR- Dwayne Bowe, Torrey Smith, Mario Manningham ,Santana Moss
    WR
    TE -Fred Davis
    OP(flex)
    K- Billy Cundiff
    D/ST - NE, Jets

he wants DeMarco Murray and Jordy Nelson.

i didnt check my emails so all his proposals expired

his first proposal was Murray/Nelson for DeangeloWilliams/Cam Newton

prolly my best bet with AP being down and only having Forte and Murray to play in his place.

    what do you guys think?

his last offer was Newton/Manningham for Murray/Nelson

except I need a RB with Newton

Manningham could be out for the year, secondly,
he needs a WR and has too many QBs, I'd probably try to build your offer around Roddy White and hang onto your rbs

third, your league leader has 5 qbs including hoyer owned but starts torrey smith weekly???

Jennings for Newton straight up. You shouldn't have to include anything else. He's getting a starting WR for a backup QB. Meanwhile you have enough at WR to be OK.

If he wants more he's fleecing you.

he had someone offering Megatron and something else so i had to do the first trade of Murray/Nelson for Williams/Newton.

i pretty much just solidified him as the winner with this trade but I was in dire need of a QB

plus the odd scoring for my league Newton averages 40 pts a week while the dropoff from Williams to Murray is more than i should have to give but the points I get from Newton make up for both players im losing combined.

ill settle for 2nd place if i can make it. (2nd place still gets money)

hell its my first yr ever doing fantasy football.
