Is Sanchez a leader? No Is Sanchez a dumbass? Yes(even Rex thinks so) Is Sanchez inconsistent? Yes Is our receiving core talented? Yes Is Sanchez worth a 1st round 6th pick? No Is Sanchez Mobile? No Is Sanchez worth 14.5 mil in cap space? No Is Sanchez accurate? revert to inconsistency when our offensive line sucks can Sanchez carry this team? Hell no Does sanchez fumble alot? Hell ya Does Sanchez still throw dumbass picks in the Redzone that change the momentum of the game? Hell ya Can you trust Sanchez in a 2 minute drill? Hell no How is he not a problem?
Can you trust Sanchez in a 2 minute drill? I guess you didn't watch the Texans or Colts games last year Is Sanchez a leader? He's the guy firing his teammates up and getting them back in the game in the 2nd half in the AFC Championship game. Yeah they came out flat which means he isn't all the way there, but I've also never heard any player question him as a leader past or present. Oh by the way Schotty's playcalling was bad in the red zone when they were down on the 2 needing a TD to tie. He also earned some respect from his teammates. by refusing to leave the huddle at a practice the week after the Dolphin loss last year when Rex wanted Brunell to come in and run the first team offense Is Sanchez mobile? Guess you didn't see the Brown game last year where he was avoiding sacks and extending plays. He is one of the better QBs at the bootleg play action pass. If you think Sanchez isn't mobile what do you call Matt Ryan? Here is the biggest point that I would ask everyone including the Jets? What if this team had Chan Gailey or Jim Harbaugh as OC? Look at what those guys have done with Ryan Fitzpatrick and Alex Smith and those teams don't have the overall offensive talent that the Jets have. We all want Sanchez to become a Rodgers, Brees, type QB that can take over a game. It took all these guys at least 4 years to get to that level. At this point its just best if the Jets part ways with Schotty if at the very least just to get a new voice in there. I hear Kris Jenkins, Braylon Edwards, and Santonio Holmes question Schotty. None of them have questioned Sanchez.
Atleast Chad Pennington was accurate and a leader and we didn't waste a 6th pick on him. We would of made it to the superbowl last year with a young Chad.
So glad someone started a thread about this... No one seems to realize that he is far from our biggest problem. When a QB has turnover at the WR position every year, pass protection that gives him 3 seconds to throw, and an offensive coordinator that is just terrible at his job, it is hard to succeed.
Please stop posting. You have posted 28 times and they got they get more fucking asinine as u continue to post. You make me want to just throw my computer out my window.
Im sticking with sanchez people - at least another year or 2. unless he just completely shits the bed... the jets lost that game... not mark sanchez *JK* i still think he shold have done the marc sanchez when he ran in that TD it would have boosted his swagger... looked like he was rocking that mexican mouthpiece... shoulda had some hombres on the sideline... get him in the zone or something..
And thank god for that. Down 9 in the Super Bowl in the 4th quarter we'd be dead with Chad at the helm. At least with Sanchez we'd still have a puncher's chance. We're not going to see a Super Bowl until Rex builds the great defense or Schotty makes way for a real offensive game plan though.
Do you really want to get into a discussion of just how many times Sanchez has completely shit the bed? Or do you think that he has only rarely sucked?
Of course there were MANY more poignant examples, as already stated by numerous posters, but that amazing display of flaccidity was symbolic. Stafford damn near killed a CB for getting in his way. That neanderthal still has Moore's ear in his pocket. Theres a certain attack mentality that all top players must have - a killer instinct if you will. Call it "mean streak", call it "guts", whatever it is, he aint got it.
Grabbing someone by the back of the helmet and twisting them down is a testament to fortitude. Huge nuts Stafford strikes again. He chases down people after he throws his 4th interception like I only wish my captain QB would. What a bad ass.
