Say what you want, but Belichek kicked Ryan's ass last night thoroughly. Not only were we outplayed, we were outcoached by miles. I'm beginning to think that not only do we have a 3rd year rookie QB, but a 3rd year rookie HC as well. This team is getting scary and not in a good way. This should be a very active offseason with more than a few goodbyes in store for alot of well known Jet players and Coaches.
He beat NE in NE in the playoffs last year. It's about making plays and we didn't. A game like last night looks terrible on the surface but if you reverse 4-5 plays, it goes the other way. And that is true of the Jets too -- if they didn't win so many games last year in the clutch, they finish closer to 8-8 or 9-7 !! And those games themselves turned on a few plays For last night: (1) Folks missed FG (2) Sanchez and Holmes both screwing up before the missed FG by not connecting on the TD (3) McKnight's fumble (and 2 more chances to save the ball) (4) A couple of key 3rd-down passes, any one of which stops the Pats (5) The TO called by Sanchez and then 3 straight pass completions after we kicked off from the 50 letting Brady score a TD when he shouldn't have even had time to get a FG.
One fluke playoff game. The last 2 times the teams played with the AFCE title on the line, Rex got his ass handed to him by a combined score of 82-19.
And when a trip to the Championship Game was on the line, your team spit the bit. Like it's done in every big game since 2007-08.
exactly. People will go back to thinking the Patriots are dominate again just like they always do, that includes last year. Chances are, their D is still garbage and they wont do sh!t in the playoffs again.
Fluke.... haha. No, that was an asskicking much like last night was. Somehow I don't think you'd be in here gloating like you just got assraped by Gronkowski had teh score turned out different.
