if we ran 35 times.. this game would a been very different IMO....pounding with green and conner was the way to win this one...it was working well but schotty kept wanting to throw instead of going with the power game

Not Schott's fault that Sanchez stinks.

Oh fuck that, yes it is. Our run game was good yet we kept insisting on throwing the ball, what the fuck?

I blame Schotty for this shit, we should have kept on the play-action and runs all day long until they stopped us. Everytime I saw Sanchez in the shotgun, I wanted to punch my tv.

Didn't read thru all this yet.... but, a lot of last nights problems IMO were COACHING, GAME PLAN and ADJUSTMENTS.....

Gotta take care of the protection early on... Gotta pick on players off the street playing in the secondary (WHICH THE JETS NEVER DO!!!)

I've said it before but, the Pats coaches.. they can see 1... ONE freakin player go down mid game and a backup come in anywhere on the field and get the next play in to their offense to take advantage of that ON THE SPOT... ALL THE TIME... "Whoa, Player X is down, WOW Brady picked that new guy apart.. TD!!!!!!"

The Jets - How many times do the Jets go into game already knowing a team has a weakness, then see another player or two go down and a whole game where the team does nothing to take advantage of that........

I'm no Sanchez Flag Bearer But, THAT, my friends is bad Coaching.

    PERIOD.

To me, Coaching losses like that are as frustraing as any.

Everytime he was back there looking to throw it down the field, that guy Carter was sacking him. It's on the players.

And yes their secondary is shit but you know what? Keep Brady off the fucking field as long as possible.

Uh, so what you're saying is Sanchez didn't have time to throw the ball because of the bad o-line? So..yet again...why weren't we running it?! Our runs were doing damage, every time. When we started in five step or shotgun, Sanchez was pressured. Why not keep doing with what works?!

Yeah, because The Great Blocking TE Gilligan should shut down NFL legit pass rushers all the time.....

throwing the ball didnt bother me, so much as the type of throws. no chung, no mccourty, hell fcking edelman was out there, yet we dont attack the outside or downfield.

When Gilligan gets beat once, pretty much all of us watching TV saw a problem....

COACHING, shouldn't let that happen again.....

I can't blame Gilligan when he should still be on some FUCKING ISLAND!@!!!!!!!!!!!!

    well then maybe:

-dont have ryan mulligan, a second string TE, blocking their best pass rusher 1 on 1.

-dont go with 5 wide outs, and no extra help on their pass rushers

there are ways to slow down/stop/limit a pass rush. we didnt try many of those things

What was most disturbing to me was a lack of a cohesive plan on offense and a lack of adjustment on both sides of the ball.

All night long, the Jets looked out of sync on offense and defense. Folk's miss set the tone early and when McKnight shit the bed with that fumbles punt, I knew the game was over then.

You can blame Schotty but having a 3rd year rookie at QB certainly didn't help.

Sanchez's lack of development is very much Schitty's fault. It's his job.

LOL! Offensive line except for Fergie and Mangold, is dreadful. Last thing the Line Coach needs is a promotion.

Rex is loyal to a fault. Too bad for us.

    Everyones to blame.

Look at how everyone fucked up, from our offense (#1 fuck up in my book), to Special teams and then to defense? Our defense was holding Tom Brady back until the very end.

But that's expected, when the Defense is constantly on the field because the offense CAN'T SCORE ON THE LEAGUES WORST DEFENSE, and ST is turning the ball over, I expect the defense to eventually get "figured out" by the leagues best QB.

Fuck that, I'd take anyone over Schotty right now. We need change in offense.

No adjustments. None. They pummeled sanchez on the rush. if you see this and do NOTHING to fix it, then its coaching.

also, on the other side of the ball, we had zero pass rush all night. their line was banged up and we made them look elite with the lack of pressure.

I must admit, alot of the points in this thread are valid. The one about Sanchez's progress, or lack of,,, is spot on.

And I thought Mulligan is supposed to be a great blocker? He obviously was awful.

Well, I suppose it could be win/win. Maybe Callahan would be a better play caller and the JETS could hire a better line coach... ok, I'll buy that!

    LOL

    So why have coaches period?

Fact is Noodle Arm Pennington was an MVP candidate the year after he left schitty.

Favre threw for 33-7 I believe

Let's put Todd Haley on the Pats, I bet they'll have the same success they have had, because they have the same players

I wonder why the 9ers are now 8-1 after hiring a new coaching staff

This post is full of ridiculousness.

And if they ran it 35 times and lost they would get crucified for not passing against the 32nd ranked pass defense , who were playing day laborers in the secondary.
