Yeah a RZ turnover is defined by where the ball is snapped, not where the ball is turned over. So Sanchez's INTs against Oakland and the Chargers are not redzone turnovers, but interceptions that were caught in red zone territory.
Alright then allow me to amend my statement to say his decision making in general still leaves a bit to be desired. C'mon. You can't tell me on at least three of his 7 picks this year you haven't been SCREAMING "throw the ball away." That shit is avoidable. As I said, I'm a huge supporter of this kid. I find it insane that "experts' like that clown Williamson on ESPN can continually knock him and compare lesser QB's in a more favorable light. He's terrific with his play fake. He's comfortable throwing on the run. I'd just like him to be more aware at times of where the Jets are on the field before he tries to force a pass he has no business throwing.
probably been brought up already but other then the raven game sanchez has not had a QB rating under 85. he also had a comp % of 31 in that game on 35 throws. take away that and his comp % is probably over 60. overall QB rating prob over 90.
Hater's gonna hate Dude is the most overanalyzed QB in the NFL For some reason people still refer to him as a turnover machine who is constantly checking down. Why? I simply don't understand the hate for the kid. Once Schoddy is gone Sanchez will take off like every other QB leaving a Schoddy system.
