Does anybody here remember the last time when the overall feeling of New England fanbase had no confidence that the Patriots can beat our beloved Jets? I was working up there the week we beat them in Foxboro in 2001, knocked Drew Bledsoe out and dropped them to 0-2. Radio callers were pretty despondent, thinking Belichick wasn't going to work out and looking to overhaul the team. I'm hoping it goes better for us this time.
How the fans feel in no way reflects how the team feels. I bet to a man the Patriots feel they will beat the Jets again. I think a key to BB's success has been to keep his team on an even keel. They don't get too high after wins or too low after losses. I expect a very tough game Sunday but if you think the Pats are going to lay down like a lot of their bandwagon fans, you may be in for a rude awakening Sunday night .

I don't expect it to be an easy game by any means, but I feel the Pats no longer scare people like they did a few years ago. As long as Brady is there and healthy you will be a very good team, but this squad is a long way from the ones that were winning superbowls.
