The Derrick Mason effect

    I think the biggest change has been our offensive line. I don't believe Derick Mason had much to do with our subpar play early on.

    Mangold coming back >>>>> Mason leaving.

    With Mangold's return:
    C was weakest spot on the line & now it's the best in the league
    OL adjustments are done by Mangold
    Running Game can benefit from addition of an excellent blocker
    Sanchez not seeing as much pressure (especially up the middle)
    Less 3 & outs ---> more time of possession ---> more rest for D

    Mangold's return has positive returns in so many aspects of the Jets game.

    Mason wasn't helping the team & complaining too much. Glad he's gone but the biggest reason for turnaround this season is Mangold.
