The Jet D is back. Nice to see it too. As far as our 50Mil Capitan goes, he's as good as he's been all year. In other words, when he's good, he's pretty good. When he's bad, it seems to hurt alot more as he consistently fcks up in a big way every game. I'm thinking Sanchez is Tony Romo. What we're seeing is what it is. From here on out, I expect both good Mark and bad Mark to show up every game. 60mins out of Sanchez? Probably not gonna happen.
Sanchez is the anti-Romo. Looks terrible at times when it doesn't really matter and is money in the clutch.
Kerley, too. 4 catches for 23 yards doesn't sound impressive, but I have a lot of confidence that he can be a really strong slot guy. Between Kerley's quickness, Plax's height + Keller and Holmes we really should be strong on 3rd downs.
Money in the clutch? Last year perhaps. This year? Not real sure about that. The kid is shaky when they let him drive the train. When the OC goes back to GnP, Sanchez excels.
Wilson (aside from the one chandler catch) had another great game. I am so pleased with his progress. Cant get enough of this kid and Im so happy we drafted him
what the fuck are you talking about? Romo can't win in big games, let alone play well in the 4th quarter. Learn football.
So those Cowboy and Charger wins wasn't him? Once again, watch game film and admit you're wrong. These opinions are ridiculous.
Whoever convinced Rex that Sanchez could carry the season in 'Air Jordan' fashion should be fired. Thank god Rex figured it out before the season got out of hand. Move this to the Shotty thread if necessary.
run defense was good. a lot of garbage time work though. and the offense moving the ball instead of 3 and outs. though we needed to capitalize and we didn't until the 3rd.
Whatever... I bet you thought Ken O'Brien was the best QB in the class of '83 too. The Cowboy game was gift wrapped to us by Tony Romo, NOT by any "Heroics" from Sanchez. The Charger game? You really think Sanchez WON that game instead of the Chargers (attn: Philip Rivers) choking the game away? Somebody must be spiking your green koolaid with Drano. Sanchez is a game manager nothing more or less at this point in his career. That's what he's best at and the CS should keep him in that role. 50mil for that level of expertise is disappointing to say the least.
Kerley again, I know the numbers don't say much but he just looks like hes gonna be an important part of this offense. He made an incredible catch that was behind him that shud of been and incomplete
oh and the pressure Maybin was getting was outstanding, never got a sack but definitely had an impact , especially on the harris int
in the cowboys game sanchez went 6-8 123 with two TD passes down 24-10. do you even watch the games? Ken O'Brien? smh
Yeah, very few teams have managed to pull off the transition from protective offense to airborne in a QB's third season when the QB started as a rookie. It's tempting to try but mostly the first 8 games of the season turn into a disaster and then everything gets dialed back. Really it's not clear that going to an airborne attack works at all in terms of winning a championship. The last few years say it is but they're likely a passing fad more than anything else (pun intended.)
