Good point. It's more a product of the shorter run up distance.

That's why Westy is a genius and I'm surprised more teams aren't copying. Having Folk kick the high angled kicks has worked well, especially against SD.

Since 1971 only 5 times has a corner won. In the last 10 years, only 1x won.

    5x Corner have won
    5x Safeties
    13x Linebackers
    7x Def. tackles
    9x Def. ends

I hope that with the insane QB rating against, the INTs and the TD returns, they'll finally open their fucking eyes and realize he's the best defensive player in the league.

For that to happen, you would have to read, watch, or even know the slightest thing about football. This leaves plenty of room for people like Skip Bayless to call him over rated.

Revis draws a lot of disrespect amongst other fanbases for his physical play. I've never seen so many people complain about contact and physical play, yet the same people complain the league is turning into flag football. It's like they don't want to watch a cornerback succeed.

Revis is great for the league, its good to see dominant defensive back play in this league where the passing game is out of control.

Unfortunately it's hard for him to win DPOY unless the team has a better record than the other candidates. NFL Awards have been pretty laughable at times:
    - Tom Brady winning comeback player of the year
    - Brian Cushing winning Rookie of the Year again after being punished for steroids
    - James Harrison (16 sacks) beating DeMarcus Ware (20 sacks) in a season
    - Ed Reed never winning DPOY

I just hope it doesn't come down to Woodson against Revis again, but it seems like it could head in that direction.

Fun fact. Revis has more Int return yards (184) than he does yards allowed (128)

You know, that's a pretty good point. I've seen a lot of that hypocrisy but never pieced that together.

    No.

The lowest possible rating is 0.0.

The highest possible rating is 158.3.

    Reed won it in 2004.
