no point in speculating at the moment who was responsible. I'm just glad we didn't rely on defensive scoring to keep the margin close

Ok, for the first 30mins, the offense really didn't look all that great. LT was forced into the feature back role as some sort of statement to him having not scored against SD at the expense of SG who has good games against the Chargers. It really didn't get us alot on the ground. 2nd half, different story and SG was the difference maker in this game. Can he do it week in and week out? I dunno but I did see him NOT run up the gut on every play and that might be the residue of the Moore effect on the game plan.

thats just flat out untrue. Schotty is on the whole, terrible. But every now and then he puts together a game plan that makes you say "wow."

The Tennesee game in Favre's year, the Bengals game in the playoffs. Hell the 1st half at INdy in 09 in the AFCCG was totally stellar. Schotty has called some truly great games, and today was another one.

Did moore really help? Probably to a degree, but if we are going to Shit on Schotty when everything goes wrong on offense, he needs to get some serious praise when the offense performs like it did today.

Schotty called a great game. If he could just be consistent in calling games like this, we'd be first in the division. Every game should be played like this. Taking the chains off of Sanchez is the best thing we can do.

My guess is Moore was here to chart the game and get a look at the flow of the offense and the way the players reacted to different situations.

I think there was a real possibility that if the Jets offense had looked bad today that Schotty would have wound up with a reduced role for the remainder of the season and a boot out the door at the end of it.

I think that chance is probably nil at this point.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets pay Moore to be at every game the rest of the way though. The play-calling looked much better today.

Moore should be here for every game.

this sums it up for any schotty argument.

they used the run to set up play action and they executed.

Moore has been game planning with the Jets all season. Just because he was at the game today does not mean that the game plan was all his doing. Maybe red zone offense he could have influenced. We didn't even really adjust our O much this game because we didn't have to. I would not put our offense working on Moore but on our run game finally doing what it should be doing.
