Patriots Injury Status, Wright To IR, Mayo in Limited Practice

    Mike Wright to IR. A real shame. Missed seven games last year due to his first concussion and was only able to play for a short while vs Miami this year. 29 year old, it's hard to see if he will be able to continue his career as a football player.

    Jerrod Mayo in limited practice today. He must have Kevlar ligaments in his knee. Not likely to play vs the Cowgirls, but will probably be back after the bye week.

    Mike Wright reminded me a little bit of our Mike DeVito. Very strong, good versus the run primarily. Undrafted FA who worked his way into the lineup. Its a shame to see careers of guys like that cut shorter.

    I feel bad for Wright, especially if it's the end of his career.

    I don't feel bad for the Pats. Suck it.

    I know it's the NFL forum and you might think that anything NFL related is wanted in here, but we really don't need Pats fans coming on here every week posting their injury report.

    I don't expect you to feel bad for the Pats. However I appreciate the sentiments towards Wright from Jets fans.

    most pats fans on here piss me off, but this thread doesnt really bother me.


    seems like Wright's career will be over due to concussions...That is a tough way to walk away from the game.
