The drafting of Ducasse and his inability to make a positive impact is truly troubling. Yes, he went to a lesser program (UMass). I can maybe get behind the idea that he was raw and needed a year to adjust to the NFL. But that's it. One year. No more. As early as he was drafted, he had to have been ready by now. It is inexcusable that he is not good enough to be starting by now. All the people who played a role in drafting Ducasse need a good bitchslap.

This is going to sound terrible..but it ties into what you are saying about the bitchslapping Cakes...but last year, during hard knocks...I was shocked on how just plain stupid he seemed. He had no understanding of what they were telling him when they tried to teach him. Like he was in a fog.

They had to have conversations with the guy...I would love to know who had the erection when his name came up as a 2nd round pick.

When your idiot GM makes the stupid moves he continues to make, you'd be disinterested as well.

Let the guy play before you decide to bury him.

Who, Ducasse? When he has played he has sucked. Mostly, though, the coaching staff hasn't given him the chance to suck in games because he's sucked in preseason action and in practice.

Sanchez gave up. Facing a soft d in the 4th, he went 2/11 for 7 yards. Every possession was a three and out with the exception of the one time we went for it on 4th down and failed. Many of his throws were WAY off - not even close. I don't expect another huge comeback, but that's ridiculously awful.

I think that in a way the brash talk and swagger was were exactly what this team needed after Mangini. However; the downside of that is that if you fail to deliver enough times, everyone will stop buying into your bullshit.

I hate to say it but Namath was right. The Ravens were not that good last might and gave the Jets plenty of opportunity. The entire offense looked liked they never set foot on a football field. If the Jets don't beat the Pats next week major changes must take place, but I fear the same old Jets.

Im not going to jump o your shit because Im assuming you are just talking about getting heat from the press, fans, etc. Not actually being on the "hot seat."

The guy is in his 3rd year...in 42 games his record is 27-15 a winning percentage of 55.5% not terrrific but not horrible either. Hes gotten the team to back to back AFCCG with a 4-2 road playoff record. And lets remeber he had a rookie QB year 1.

The fanbase of this franchise fucking sucks sometimes. Everyone blows Rex Ryan on a constant basis remembering the dog shit that was the Mangini years...we lose two games in a row and everyone gets up his ass?! I guaren-motherfucking-tee if we miss the playoffs this year we're going to start to hear the "should Rex be fired" bullshit.

I really dont have a point here other than...fucking relax. Each of the past two years we've had some sort of "holy shit the seasons over!!" paranoid bitch moment. Were 2-2 with 12 games left. Things need to be addressed yes but the sky is falling bullshit is getting old and tired.

A majority of this fanbase doesnt have the balls to stick with a HC through the peaks and valleys. Shit look how long it to Cowher to win a SB but he did it. If he coached here he would have been gone long before that. And weve already started with the can we draft Luck horsehit?! Are you people fucking kidding me?

This isnt a video game where you can flip your whole god damn roster every 3 years. You really want to draft a QB and start from scratch? The offensive line isnt the only group of people that need to pull their heads out of their asses.

And finally ...someone please explain to me what the fuck Sanchez is supposed to do when he barely has time to get a grip on the football before someone is knocking his fucking teeth out? Tom Brady would have played like shit with that kind of pressure.

I think there is a huge difference in putting him in the hot seat to be fired versus putting him in the hot seat to answer questions and perform better. Fans & media outlets want to know wtf is going on. All blame starts with the head coach as that is who is ultimately responsible for the performance or lack there of. As I watched last nights game, I saw Sanchez take a beating, but he was not pressured every time he made poor decisions, its almost like he was rattled to the core and was afraid of what MIGHT happen.

Honestly, he looked like Brady did last playoff game. In fact, he looked much worse IMO

He blasted the defense plenty last week.

He doesn't blast individual players or coaches through the media but he will make them accountable behind the scenes (remember the story about Sanchez wanting to 'fight him' over almost being benched? Or taking more of a hands-on role in the offensive play calling late in his first season?). This season isn't about accountability, it's about not having the horses. The Jets lost a lot of good role players this offseason, didn't replace them and that's coming back to bite them now. Tanny's done a good job here but this season's on him for the most part.

yes, this is a case of Rex getting the other teams up to beat us. For some reason his tactics didn't work in the last 2 WC and div rd games as those teams were not up to play us.

I love that Rex talks. And really up until now we have backed it up. Right now we have an extremely vanilla offense, no running game a banged up OL. There are a lot of factors contributing to our recent struggles. And personally the biggest mistake we have made was changing our philosophy from Ground and Pound to an air it out offense. That's has more of an effect on our struggles than Rex's talking.

I don't think we wanted to change to an air it out O but when you can't run what can we do?

But he's a project, but he missed time, but he's Haitian, but he missed out on the OTA's, but, but, but...

I said this in another thread, "FUCK YOU" to the Ducasse defenders.

Lol that is how bad a guy is, the coaching staff would rather play an undersized awful (for nfl standards) UDFA in the middle of the line than have Ducasse in..................and they are 100% correct in that decision.

Ducasse is simply awful....he shows no football ability or recognition whatsoever...he is just a big retard who can occasionally push the pile. Anyone who says he is RT not LG/RG should look at his footwork , blitz recognition and realise that if Gholston had played against him every week for his first 3 years he would be Lawrence Taylor like for his sack numbers.

Did he score a minus on the Wonderlic?

Ref Rex he should crank it up this week and light a fire under a few people , too many people talking the talk but not delivering!!

They openly discussed airing it out more this year. I can't seem to find the thread but I broke down Sanchez's record when he threw more than 30 passes vs. what it is when he throws for less than 30 (or something like that). I didn't like the idea of airing it out more and this is why.
