Well just because he can run faster then the other QBs & OLman does not make him a star yet. However, I am sure Man smiled a bit after the lap was done.
Running a lap is common in Pop Warner and High School football and it works in conditioning and keeping the players focused. So is anyone surprised by this?
Yes and so are the lovers who keep saying oh we are rebuilding or theres always next year.I WANT TO WIN NOW NOT NEXT YEAR!
That is my mantra as well. Some posters like Tony appear only interested in being entertained winning is not #1 on there priority list it seems. So long as they are entertained they are happy. Strange fans if you ask me.
I think it's safe to say that everyone WANTS them to win now. People are just being realistic about the situation and understand that it's going to take some time to build a solid team given the current situation. I think a lot of people would also agree that they are off to a solid start building a foundation for a championship run. If you expect a championship this year then you're most likely setting yourself up for a major dissapointment. Rome wasn't built in a day.
Only pointing out your view of things that you have repeatly posted which makes me think you really/truly believe the entertainment thing.
between your wide receiver post the other day and now this one I am starting to think that perhaps you are a bit too anxious my friend. I too would like to finally win a god damn superbowl already but it aint happening this year bro. Chilax, and let the new regime do their thing
Dude i hear ya just tired of the same old same old.Fans who are ok with losing because they get a kick out seeing reactions by other people when they wear Jets gear.Im tired of Super Bowl Sunday watching someone elses favorite team.Ive been a season ticket holder for 11 years i sit out 1-15 or 15-1 no matter. I wear Jets gear win or lose. AND I DONT MAKE EXCUSES FOR NOT WINNING!
Yeah, so I may have been a little excited about team building, but when a team is in rebuilding mode, especially with a brand new coaching staff and GM, it's the little things that give me the most amped up. So, I guess Champ is intent to keep his me against the world mantra from the WR thread. What's wrong with getting excited and being happy that your team is taking the proper steps toward winning? If winning is the only thing real fans care about (i'm paraphrasing here,) then why wouldn't real fans be stoked to see the team doing the things necessary from the bottom-up to ensure that future success?
All I know is, NOBODY at Herm's camp took a lap last year. I didn't see one. I'm anxious to go Tuesday now, just to see the difference between the two camps.
