No he won't. He may play well, but the way the pro bowl works, you need to put up a pretty darn good season just to get noticed the NEXT YEAR.
kerry has to put up good numbers and he will make the pro bowl. vandenbosch, burgess, june and sanders didnt make the pro bowl because they had great seasons the year before...they made it because of the numbers they put up in 05
And the recognition they got the year before. Numbers are not the entire story for making the pro bowl. If you do not agree, you aren't paying attention. One thing about all those guys.. Played for playoff teams.. That's big in getting the recognition.
I have to agree here, making major contributions on a winning team is what gets you into the pro-bowl. After all...this is supposed to be the best of the best out there, right? I love Rhodes' athleticism and think he is going to have a great year and career, but I don't think he will jump some of the other winning teams safeties. On the other hand, I don't think we're going to have a bad year as some think and we will be competitive in every game.
are you drunk? the recognition they got the year before? played for playoff teams? wow, i didnt know the titans made the playoffs last year. i also didnt realize a DE with 0 starts in 16 games and 13 total tackles with 0 sacks deserves to be recognized  and what about sanders? the guy was active for 6 games in 04, didnt make any plays at all. what is that all about? he made the pro bowl because he plays for the colts. but its not JUST about what team you're playing for...
Polumalu, Reed and Sanders are pretty much locks for the AFC. So he'd have to beat out everyone else for that last spot.
reed + polamalu = SS (only 1 one them will make it) sanders (not a lock btw) = FS (theres still one open spot at FS if he makes it)
Thanks 4 the update. I can't make it to parctice because of work responsibilities plus its a long drive from NJ. I enjoyed reading comments about camp :jets:
I've been to 3 practices so far and 2 things have stuck out for me so far Patrick Ramsey has a howitzer for an arm and Tim Dwight looks to be the fastest player i've ever seen on this team...
I love the speed. I found some clips from Dwight's college days and one from the Superbowl. Hope the link works. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boQa2rfS_ww&search=bigten
