Can't remember the game, but I believe it was in 2007.

Only the 3rd time in Jets history that they came back after being down 14 in the 4th quarter.

The most IMPORTANT "stat" is the final score!

Romo did play better all game EXCEPT when it mattered most. Sanchez didn't play that great all game except when it mattered most, and thats what matters most.

The Monday Night Miracle and a 1978 comeback in Denver were the other two.....

That 1978 game was great, Matt Robinson hit Wesley Walker with a TD bomb on the first play of the 4th quarter. Denver was the defending AFC champions that year.

That's not really accurate though, is it. Sanchez had a fumble and two poor drives after the Burress TD. He didn't finish strong, but he will another time.

Not true at all, they both were awful for the last 10 minutes or so. Romo cost his team the game, but If he hadn't thrown the pick and they made a FG this board would be littered with posts about Sanchez not getting it done late.

When you consider how poorly the O-line protected him, I thought he played pretty well.

The most impressive thing to me is no penalties during the season opener, after a really short football preparation off season due to the hold out.
