I'm rooting for him, if they are jets I'm rooting for them. I hope he has a big year and helps us win a ton of games but he's still a moron.
Of course he is. I could give two shits about these players as real human beings. Every single one of them is like a race horse to me.
Times like these I appreciate having players like David Harris and Nick Mangold. It sorta sucks that not every player can just be as chill and laid back. Sorta annoyed by all the unnecessary media attention and drama some players like to attract. Whatever, Plax will be fun to watch, and I'm still glad to have him on the team. Whats up with the shot at the end about the average joe? I guess he hasn't been paying attention to exact same thing Lebron said. Plax is a clown, Cromartie is another one, but these guys are talented and will help our team, so its all gravy
Umm, Michael Vick kept his mouth to himself and didn't self-promote? Let's see... he produced a ten part television miniseries called the Michael Vick Project Called himself the co-MVP of the NFL last year. Said "You can't design a defense to stop me". (Like Burress) did not hesitate to blame his old team for past problems ... and of course his environment ... and his race And he has done all of this while having a PR team of "at least seven" professionals working for him!!! Honestly I would say that this sounds more sincere than anything that has ever come out of Michael Vick's mouth. Whether that actually means anything is another story, but (even as a Patriots fan) I find myself believing in Plaxico's "reform" more than Vick's. Team bias aside, I would rather see Burress have more success than Vick. sources: http://www.gq.com/sports/profiles/201109/michael-vick-gq-september-2011-interview http://m.yahoo.com/w/sports/home/ne...id=auMMslc9vD1aryBissnSNcV8&.intl=US&.lang=en http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/...Kolb-and-Michael-Vick-to-quarterback-43064073
Cracked me up too. No wonder people say he does not have the heart for it. The team tries to act like he is a leader but both from his actions and how he defends them, I'm left wondering how he ever lead his team to a SB.
plaxico can shoot himself in the leg 85 times and murder 20 children as long as he performs on the field i can care less what type of person he is
I cannot stand Vick, but even I have to admit that he did do it the right way. He either collected a boat load of sense through his situation, or he finally listened to someone talking sense. In either event he came out ahead doing it the way he did.
He plays for the Jets, so I will root for him on Sundays for 3 hours. Otherwise, he's clearly an idiot, and I don't need to say anything nice about him in that context. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that so many of these guys are simply incapable of keeping their mouths shut, but I still am.
Wouldn't you be pissed off if people were sending you letters saying they were glad you were in jail, and that they were happy you couldn't see the birth of your daughter? I would be. This is a stupid argument
I live in tampa and I can say his team would probably jump off a bridge if told so. I'm still not completely sold on him, but he tied his job to Freeman from his KSU days and hasnt looked back since. You know players talk, I'm sure him and Aqib Talib talked about how awesome Morris is at the shooting range
He needs to be smart enough to realize that there are sick people in this world, don't take that out on all fans. He needs to ignore nonsense like that.
How is he taking that out on all fans? That's taking the quote out of context. His message was clearly aimed at the people who were doing such things to him. To take it or construe it in any other way is asinine.
rofl thats pretty priceless. "yeah it just didnt work out, you know? like you go to get in the car and think 'fuck that guy, aside from making the winning catch to get people off my ass? who is he to me?' then you go back inside jerk off, eat a sancwhich, and sleep. my schedule was pretty hectic"
PB goes through what everybody that gets their freedom taken away from with any conscience goes through. I could tell who has and hasn't been in jail in this thread. rather amusing. What he does with his life from here out will tell the story.
His defensive front 4 got him a ring. He got a lucky throw off, and then Ellis Hobbs was 1 on 1 against Plax which made zero sense.
