The NFL Network is broadcasting from each NFL camp this pre-season. The Jets will be on at 8 am on Tuesday, August 8th. Here's the pre-season schedule. http://www.nfl.com/trainingcamp/features/gatoradeday
tivo it...dvd record it...hell whip out the old VHS for you oldtimers...hell with technology these days you can do anything you want...
According to the schedule that was in the NY Post this past Sunday, the early practice will begin at 8:45am. I would think that the NFL Network would like to start at 9am to show more practice time, but what do I know. I'm sure they will show it again later in the day. They did last year.
Some young man with a Verizon shirt came to my house, wanting me to sign a contract for TV (that's what they called it) a broadband modem connection, and phone service, which would save me 75 bucks total monthly.... WITH NFL network. (I forgot to ask about HDTV). Kicker was he had no documentation to leave with me, just waived this contract around. Verizon just wired a friends apt building in Mineola with fiber optics. Seems Verozon is going cable, with fiber optics, but this kid didn't have near enough info for me to commit. My guess is that there are still legal technicalities to overcome before they can actually offer all these services, but they are wiring parts of Nassau with fiber optics, so they must be pretty sure they can get this pushed through. As soon as it's firmed up.... goodbye Dolan dipsticks.... shove it!
That's the time they will be there....it may be broadcast live as well but they will surely repeat it in the evening, probably at 8 pm after NFL Total Access.
I used to work for Cablevision. Verizon FIOS is going to be a disaster. Moreover, I find it laughable when people criticize Cablevision and are extremely excited about "screwing them over" by switching to...Verizon? Now that I work in the telecom industry I can tell you Verizon is a nightmare of a company with less accountability than Cablevision. They'll regularly missed scheduled dial tone delivery, costing customers 1,000's of dollars, and the typical response is "tough luck." As it regards FIOS, I fully recommend it if: You want your lawn torn up for fiber optic cable to be run from the pole to your home. You want a unit about the size of a central air unit installed in your backyard. You want another meter sized black box on the side of your house. This meter sized box comes with a battery that has a life of one year, and after said period you are responsible for replacing this expensive piece of equipment. You want to deal with a project that involves all of the standard copper wiring for voice and data ripped out of your home and replaced with fiber optics. If you decide that FIOS is too expensive for you(after one year, the price jumps considerably) you are then unable to switch back to DSL or Optimum, neither of which can utilize your fiber optic connection. I personally believe that Verizon, paying the price for years of inflated telephone bills, is foolishly attempting to get back at Cablevision and Time Warner without regard for how well entrenched Charlie Dolan is in New York State bureaucracy. The cost of countless franchise agreements, labor, and equipment makes FIOS a fool's errand. The cost of cabling is currently through the roof. The future is satellite, and I think Verizon is being incredibly shortsighted. -X-
you guys arent missing too much without the nfl network....all they show is the 2005 jaguars training camp over and over and over again...I have nightmares of Jack Del Rio standing behind a tackling dummy with a gatorade bottle n his hand
 Not much substance, huh... I'm more concerned with the slate of regular season games they plan on airing starting on Thanksgiving this year. Hopefully, Cablevision will have something worked out with them by then....
nfl newtrowk is only doing a special show on 12 teams, we are not one of them.......that list u saw is gatarade days at training camp
Yeah and the same stupid commercial day after day about either the most memorable moment of the giants, saints or Steelers season....and retarded reality shows about cheerleaders.....in the offseason the only worthwhile programming is NFL Total Access and the NFL Films..... NFL Radio on Sirius is a far better value
NFL total access comes all morning and then gets replayed at night. It's usually on until noon and then back on at 7pm
