    1997
We had a new tough coach to change the attitude of the team

We had an underachiving WR have a good season in Key (what I am hoping for from Coles, McCareins)

We had a weak armed veteran QB replaced by young vet (Odonell for foley, like chad for Ramsey or Clemens)

We had a mediocre running game (what I expect this year)

    We went 9-7

    1998

Vinny takes over for injured Foley (maybe where clemens takes over full time)

We brought in a stud running back in curtis (Adrian Peterson?)

We traded our top pass rusher in Hugh Douglas (like abe)

We pick up a great center in Mawae (Mangold)

Picked up good vet defenders like Bryan Cox (Brad Kassell)

We go 12-4 and play in the AFC Championship game

It is possible to have a good season

history does have a knack for repeating itself. I would be quite happy if we went 9-7.....but anything over 5 wins means we WON'T be landing Adrian Peterson :)

We don't, but if things go as he says then we will bring in a stud RB from somewhere and peterson is as good an example as any.

I'm just saying we can get a stud RB next year. May not be peterson (esp. if we go 9-7) but we will be able to get a very good RB in the draft, or trade or free agency. Maybe, just maybe Houston or Washington might turn into a franchise back

Peterson plays at Oklahoma and is a junior
