Recently, there has been talk of Cowboy fans coming to see the Skins training camp. I guess the thought is that they get a sneak peek at thier archrival. This seems like something that could get some of the skins faithful riled up depending on how things shake out.

Just wanted to see what Jets fans would think if Dolphins (they are you #1 rival, aren't they?) showed up to camp in decent numbers - some in thier colors. Would it be permissible or seen as an invasion of your "house"?

No, but why the hell would anyone travel that far to see a training camp of another team?? I guess in your case they could atleast see DC, but still...

Well unless they're local cowboy's fans

Well, I personally don't mind seeing opposing fans at training camps, but I don't want to be a Cowboy Fan with a TO jersey going to Eagles Camp.

Yeah, most are local I think.

Some were talking about starting shit, but I think most were going to stay low-key about it and prob. not wear cowboys colors.

This is an assinine post and an even more ridiculous set of questions.

    (1) Of course it's "permissible." There are no dress codes at TC and people can wear anything they want, anywhere they want and at any time they want.

    (2) It's no more an "invasion" of our house than it is to see Dolphins fans at a Jets game. If someone wants to make an ass of themselves by showing up at a Jets Training facility wearing an outfit comprised of hideous and ridiculous-looking Orange and Turquoise, that's their problem.

Now, as far as "starting shit," that's another matter. There are security people at TC and it is a very family-oriented, low-key event with lots of children wanting to see their favorite stars. I don't think "starting shit" would be such a hot idea, IMO.

Easy on the hostility, cletus! Having a bad day at work?

Seriously, though, I've been to Jets games where they were destroying the visiting team and yet still fans will be messing with whatever visiting team fans have the nads to stick it out till the end of the game. Just wanted to guage the board's opinion on this. It is the offseason, you know. Not a whole lot else to talk about.

Well first of all, I see Buffalo as a bigger rival because I live closer to Buffalo, have tons of Bills fan friends, and have to hear about them all year.....

I don't know about Bills fans going to Jets camp, but I was considering going to Bills camp for a day just to check out the atmosphere and see the guys a little more up close and personal....I wouldn't be a dick about it if I went....I'd just go to watch.....

Why would Dolphins fans go to Jets TC? They don't even goto Dolphins home games.

they only wear their colors when the team is winning! When it is losing, the BLOWFISH have very few fans who will admit it!

I plan on going to Jets camp, but I live in Valley Stream, about fifteen minutes away from Hofstra. If I saw any fins fans there I'd probably just laugh, I wouldn't consider it an "invasion" at all.

I wouldn't really care if a Dolphin fan showed up in Dolphin gear. I'd think it's stupid and pointless, but I wouldn't care enough to do anything about it.

If another team trained in my town, I would probably go a few times to check it out. But imo if you go long distances just to see your rival practice, you really need a life.

A lot of people are really high on this guy, including the coaches who have said as much. He apparently looked really good in the OTAs and on extremeskins, someone posted a collection of clips from his days in the CFL. I have to admit, I like his downhill running style.

I see you're from Canada. Do you have an opinion on him?
