Mark Brunell was out last week against Houston with a sore pinky. This past week Brunell was out with a sore calf. Brunell has been a great mentor for Sanchez and as much as I'm glad he's our #2, I have a lot of doubts about his durability at this stage. The guy is going to turn 41 this year. What do you expect? So, I'm glad to see that McElroy is doing ok out there. We're going to need a new #2 next year.
My thought is that with no formal off-season they are using any excuse to look at McElroy and young guys instead of playing Brunell. Pinky and calf injuries are code for faking injuries, the Knicks used to have a big white guy who got a strained calf the minute someone good came off the injured list. Brunell will probably play the Eagles game when no starters play and that's all he'll need after 20 years in the NFL.
First, we get rid of New Age of the Hot Chick. Now we're blurrying out the groupies of our QBs. What the hell is next???????????
Also keep in mind he's working WITH back ups! From the O line all the way down to Wr's. Cant down play it, he's been looking good
AdamSchefter Adam Schefter FWIW: Through two preseason weeks, Jets seventh-round pick Greg McElroy leads all rookie QBs with an 89.5 QB rating.
Might be the worst name in all of sports. Other than that I have nothing of substance to contribute to this thread.
Considering you're a duplicate account (yes, I know exactly who you are), you won't have much more to contribute to the rest of the board if i permaban both of your accounts. My question is, why did you create the 2nd account? Your original account is respected here despite you being a phin fan.
