I strongly disagree with Jags, Titans, Raiders

I think hes right there with Jackson in Seattle and McCoy might be the only QB in the league that has worse WR's than the Bills and he looked alright as a Rookie.

Skins and Dolphins are a mess at QB. He could start there.

Smith might be able to flourish in the right system.

You don't know what you're getting with Newton but I would take his upside over knowing what I get with Fitz, which is a serviceable backup in this league.

I have the NFL Ticket and have Jets fans over here. I start drinking around 10am. You're more than welcome to come. All Jets fans are welcomed as long as you don't have a serious wrap sheet.

Ha! no wrap sheet. I usually start drinking at around 11 so I should be able to start a little earlier. I get a bunch of free Bills/Jets tix every year (except last year in Toronto) from where I work. I will gladly throw a couple your way. Good seats -- 200 level usually on the 50. Heated, with a bar only 3 steps away.

I'm saying he could start today on those teams. I understand the potential with some of the young QB's -- but IMHO guys like McCoy and Newton need time to learn how to play in the NFL. I would start a guy like Fitz and let them sit the bench for a couple of years before throwing them to the fire.

Good move by the Ravens. Would have preferred to see Evans continue to waste away in Buffalo.

    Can i get a hug?

Understand the move though. Stevie J has shown he can be a number 1. He even beat some double teams during the 3 games Evans missed last year. Easley and Nelson are capable of being solid number 2's with Parrish in the slot. Would like to see another vertical threat signed though when teams start making cuts. Maybe even take a veteran like Hoosh for a year. Our WR'S are not the worst in the NFL like someone up there mentioned!

I wish Evans the best of luck, classy guy, did alot for charity, always was a team first guy, and a leader in the lockeroom.

Great pickup for Baltimore. Evans may be one of the most underrated players of his era. I don't know if Flacco's got the goods yet, but he's better than anyone who's played for Buffalo since Drew Bledsoe (and by then, Drew wasn't that great).

I'm not sure what Buffalo was thinking here. Only a 4th?

Evans wanted out and they can only trade for what's on offer.

We got Holmes for a 5th.

NE got Moss for a 4th.
    NE got 85 for a 4th or 5th

Receivers with a few years on them come cheap more often than not.

as someone who's repeatedly had him on my fantasy team for years (for one reason or another), he sucks now. he'll def be better in baltimore, but once JP losman stopped being the one throwing him the ball, he was never the same.

He used to be one of the fastest receivers in the NFL. He's not even close to that level anymore

Losman actually had the balls to throw the ball downfield. I wouldn't say Evans sucks. He simply just doesn't fit in with Gaileys "westcoast" like style offense. He's one dimesional and always has been.

Disagree on your last sentence. He still ran a 4.3 in camp a few weeks ago. He's still got the speed.

This is a good move for the Ravens. Somehow, I just noticed this now. Lee Evans has always been a thorn in our sides and I think he definitely has a lot to offer as a number two behind Boldin. For a 4th? easy trade for Baltimore to make.

I didn't know he wanted out that bad. Of course being in Buffalo, its not a surprise.

Using the Moss reference doesn't help, I didn't understand that one either.
