Just popped over to the team website www.newyorkjets.com and it says "Jets Sign 1st Round Draft Pick D'Brickashaw Ferguson" under a picture of his. But that's it, no story to go with it. Is this BS? Has anyone heard anything????

I can't see it being BS if it is coming from the team's official website. So who is left out of our draft picks? Mangold and Clemens?

Just strange that there is no story or details to go with it. Maybe it just happened and there working something up. Yeah, just Mangold and Clemens left if this pans out....

Just checked around, no details on any newswires yet. The other Jets forums are all assuming it's done. Great news, now just get the other two in before tomorrow and I'll be a happy camper (no pun intended)....

Those bastards just changed it. They removed the word "signed" under his picture and now it just reads "Jets 1st round draft pick D'Brickashaw Ferguson". I bet they were getting inundated with calls....

all in due time :) I would rather get mangold in asap he's going to need the most work IMO since he's going to make the line calls this year at center.

It was either a mistake or they jumped the gun a little bit. Either way i expect he'll be signed very soon along w/ the other 2 remaining.

My guess is Kendall will be making the calls for a while. Brick and Mangold will both be week 1 starters, so they gotta get in and get to work. Everybody signed today would make me happy.

Unless Man & Brick turn out to be spoken about in the same breath with other players who played there position & were great & R now HOFers IMHO they were wasted picks by the new regime.

Just saying it is a waste if they do not turn out to be super, super stars since they will be then just average L/man one takes with the #4 overall pick. It is decisions like this by other GMs & CS that have made us a stinko team for 37 some odd years now. So why rejoice until they prove they are on the level of the very, very best?

So its a waste to sign our first round draft pick if he isnt going to be a HOF'er?????
How do we know if he will become an average player or a HOF'er if he isnt signed?
    Nice logic.

So we didn't need to improve the O-line with the best prospects in the draft?

    OK for the record -

Who (In Your Opinion) should the FO have picked to keep you from complaining?

It is very unrealistic to demand both picks be HOFers because 1/2 of the 1st round picks in the NFL are busts.

I just think that you should be less negative. Give the guys a chance to sign and develop before holding the pressure of having to make the HOF over their heads.
