I know it's not a groundbreaking FA signing, but interesting and some afc east news: http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sport...igpen-agrees-to-3-year-deal-with-buffalo.html
I cant believe that the Bills let their best defender waltz off the Jags - given that clubs now have to spend money under the new CBA how do they lose their one top FA? edit: I just saw details of the very high contract the Jags gave him - certainly seems like they overpaid.
POZ is overated. Of his 280 some tackles the past 3 seasons, the average yards downfield that tackle was made was around 4. No way was he our best defender. Kyle Williams, Dareus, Davis, Byrd, and im excited to see what Merriman can do.
lolz?.....smh i spelled it correctly upon signing up, one of the mods here had fun changing it around.
I actually remember being really impressed with Thigpen the few times I watched him play in 2008. He clearly has accuracy and decision making problems, but he's athletic and has a pretty good arm. Good backup for a team that needs a QB who's willing to take risks in order to win games.
And he has worked with Chan Gailey before. I just hope that wasn't our "big FA" signing. We still need a RT more then anything.
