I don't get why they're not using their money to get stars that would help them. They easily could've gotten one of the Asomugha/Joseph/Cromartie trio to fill their hole at corner that was created by the Talib arrest, that's a big need for them. Ahmad Bradshaw would've been a perfect complimentary back to Blount. They need a #2 WR badly opposite Mike Williams, why not grab Sidney Rice or Braylon Edwards? Zach Miller would be another nice target for Freeman as well to pair with Winslow at TE. Why not go for Jared Gaither after missing out on Doug Free? They could've gotten all those guys and still not hit the cap limit, which would've allowed them to compete with the Saints and Falcons in the South. But for some reason they make dumb deals like this; I don't get it.

You gotta start somewhere, the Bucs were a good 30-40 million under the floor no?

Yeah, they have an absurd amount of cap space, but they also may have the most talented young team in the league and the most underrated QB in the NFL. I don't think they really have any reason to overpay for anyone this season if no one is available to fill a hole, granted, punter was a hole that needed filling for them.

Consider yourself corrected. The floor starts this year.
