    Just got back from browsing through the new GQ magazine on my lunch break...One page was dedicated to highlighting the worst sports contracts in recent memory and WHAT DO YOU KNOW? Chad's contract with the Jets is one of them. Chad's fellow mates included the likes of Shawn Kemp, Mike Hampton, Eric Dampier, and other overpaid flash-in-the-pans.

    La dee da. We don't need a magazine to tell us that it was a bad contract, we all know it was.

    Do they mention anything about how he restructured it to help the team out? Probably not.

    Yes, you are right...we all know that. It was just something I stumbled across and was offering up as a tidbit of info for anyone interested. I wasn't really trying to pass the information off as ground-breaking.

    I suppose some might refer to me as that, whereas others may not. Along those lines, I don't really classify myself as anything...I am who I am.

    Of all the deals mentioned in that article, Chad's seemed to be the smallest in terms of average-pay-per-year.

    Other than that, I'm happy that the writers of GQ have better hindsight than everybody else. . . :rolleyes:

    Where was the Grant Hill signing with Orlando Magic on that list? I'd imagine that has to be the biggest contract disaster ever, even worse than Chad's.
