This is great... I get a handful of decent baseball games a year on TV here in Singapore... just found out they will be showing all three of these games in HD this weekend. But just as every rose has it's thorn, I will be stuck listening to Michael Kay fellate all things Yankee all weekend.
trying to figure out if the mets are getting lucky with a bunch of shit 4a players or are truely a moneyball team. speaking of moneyball their making a movie out of it with jonah hill playing a grime scout and the sharter from along came polly playing art how. wonder if theyl have him shart as howe.
D Robertson has been cash money for us this year. Piss on the Mets. Cakes, you're willing to dig up the most random, historic facts nobody gives a shit about but you're too lazy to look up the info of the upcoming series, and decide to start the thread anyway?
Some are dug up, whereas others are stuck in my head due to watching the players/game in question or from having read about the subject years ago. As for this, yeah I was too lazy to look up the info. This is not the first time I've done this with baseball threads, though. In the past there were threads where I knew 3 or 4 of the 6 starting pitchers. The difference this time is that I don't really watch baseball anymore. Out of boredom, I put the game on last night. The Mets were batting with 2 outs in the 8th inning. I stuck around to watch the final 10 outs while reading a book. I haven't looked at tonight's game because basketball is on.
