I don't think Bob makes things up out of thin air, but he might as well. Since we have Cotchery, Turner, Kerley, and McKnight as the only WRs guaranteed to come back/be on the roster, it's not outlandish to think we could get Steve Smith. It would make a lot more sense just to resign Edwards or Holmes and keep our picks though.

my $.02 steve smith is a hell of a run blocker and goes and gets the ball. I'd take him as a holmes substitute no problem. They're on opposite sides of their respective careers but smith is still legit and a tough son of a bitch.
