We know Tanny lets him make one final-day pick...if I had to guess I'd say the kid from Louisville cause he's a physical back but not the obvious choice there.

    I think Ellis!!

In the final presser, Rex was really going to "bat" :) for the guy.

I think Rex picked all 6 of them. If any get cut it was all Tanny.

Powell had to be Rex's pick. He said it was offense, but played with a defensive mentality.

I was guessing this. He's "married" to Sanchez with the Jets, so maybe he figured he'd give Mark his pick.

I think it was the running back Powell. When Rex was interviewed before the draft he said he already had his guy locked. said he was an offensive guy with a defensive mentality. Plus the camera's in the War Room showed how happy they were after they made the pick.

Definitely Bilal Powell as others have mentioned, Rex said he had his eye on an offensive player with a defensive mentality.

"But the 6-0, 200-pound Powell likely won’t play offense at Louisville. That’s because his strengths lie as a defensive back." from louisville.scout.com

This team has two McKnights on it because of Mark. If neither one pans out, he shouldn't get a say in the draft process anymore.

I wonder if Rexs' pick had a defensive mentality, despite being on offense?
