Kickoffs moved up to 35-yd line

Can't help but think this hurts the Jets, who perennially have a Top-5 kick return unit.

I disagree with you guys. As soon as I heard this, I immediately thought this was a good thing for a team with Rex Ryan running the show.

Ill take opposing offenses starting at the 20 against our defense any day of the week.

Our defense is our strong point though and can take a slight handicap, while our offense could use the benefit.

Yeah, it's not like starting at the 35-yard line on average helped us or anything.

It's the 25 yard line for a touchback, now.

Brad Smiths stock just went down a little, should be easier to resign him.

He does a lot more than just return kickoffs though.

NFL NEtwork crew mentioned that this will make the NFL even more of a pass oriented league. I agreee and that is not necessarily a bad thing.

I like the rule because It benefits my team the most. Jankowski easily kicks it out of endzone and the other team dosen't kick it out and Jacoby Ford has a chance to bring it back.

They need to stop fucking so much with this game. It is going to get to the point where it just doesn't feel right anymore. Did anyone else read where they considered doing away with kickoffs all together, or possibly turning the kickoff into a punt/safety kind of situation. How retarded..

This is getting stupid.. Goodell is a joke.
