    Didn't at least one - maybe 2 - "scab players" remain with the Jets after the strike was settled? Aside from Gastineau...

    I may be wrong but I think Scott Mersereu was a replacement player who stuck with the team. I think Jim Haslett was also a replacement player.

    He was, stuck around a while after that. There were three replacement games, by the last one the strike was settled and a lot of guys came back. The last one was home vs Miami, I was there, Pat Ryan started at QB for us, Gastineau played, a bunch of guys played. Kyle Mackey was the Miami QB who later played for us, started one game in 1989. We won in OT.
