If you like survival horror games and think Resident Evil games suck now, play this.

This game just looks like fun. Not sure on the replay value but it definitely looks like a great first play through.

This game is so effing awesome. I just beat it a few hours ago first time through (Zealot) and started round 2 already. One thing I noticed was that this game is fricken hard, way harder than the first one on the hardest difficulty.

Not much of a horror anymore, but they traded that in for straight up action so no complaints here. The game still keeps your heart pounding, but there is a ton more action compared to the first.

Hardcore mode sounds insane, I'm going to give it a shot eventually but it seems impossible

Does the story have anything to do with the original dead space? I'm almost done playing through it now, before i buy 2. It's awesome i don't know how i missed it.

Yea definitely that was a good idea. The whole story continues off from the first. I won't ruin anything, but you would be lost in the plot line if you didn't play the first one.

Get ready for a lot more action too when you get to the next game.

What platform is everyone playing Dead Space 2 on? I played Dead Space on PC and I've been thinking about getting it on PS3. Is there any noticeable difference between platforms?

In pretty much every case the graphics are leaps and bounds better on any PC version of any game. The only games I buy on consoles are ones I would play online... other than that Action RPG, FPS with no longterm multi I go with PC. Biggest regret is getting both Fallout games on PS3 and not PC.

TGD, I agree with ya on that one. My general rule of thumb is that any FPS game I will play on PC. However, it would seem like control is a toss-up on the over-the-shoulder type of games.

You could actually get away with playing Fallout 3 on the PS3, however, when you throw in the aiming of New Vegas, PC is the only way to go.
