I compared it to the Steelers and they don't have that success rate, but Tanny always has fewer picks than other teams in the later rounds. I commend the FO for hitting on their picks even when they have 3, but its a dangerous game. And fuck the Steelers - they never miss in the first round. Timmons gets moved to ILB and he shines. That's why they are so good. Every 1st rounder is a top 10 player at the position.
Ziggy Hood is starting to come into his own too....when Hampton decides to retire, Hood will step right in and that Dline won't miss a beat. Disgusting.....but you have to respect it.
Will he play nose? I think he's doing a really good replacing Smith... who is pretty old too (a yr older than Hampton)... prob he'll replace him. What really helps them develop talent on D is having a guy like LeBeau... not only his skills but also the continuity (how long has he been coaching the Steelers D?) Continuity in the CS (when you have good coaches) is a huuuge factor that often gets over-looked.
