Tossed and turn all night, wondering "what if". I guess some people were right, the Jets blew there load last week.
slept ok. woke up feeling crummy. boyfriend leaves for afghanistan in a few hours. depressing all around
I actually slept fine. I think it's because I was so drained from the game, actually believing they were going to win it during their 2nd Half comeback. On top of watching the entire showing of SNY Post-Game Live and reading/posting here on TGG. Why I didn't shy away from anything Jets related after the game, I will never understand. I've come to this conclusion: The New York Jets have me by a chokehold, and I just refuse to tap out.
I got physically ill. Honest. My stomache was all f'd up. I have a cold, and started coughing, and actually shit my undies alittle while in bed. Up three times with the shits. Then I have a coughing attack, and blood is flying out of my f'n nose. I mean almost spraying around the room. Both nostrils, and I'm like WTF!? Blood all over the sheets and comforter. I hold my nose as I run to the bathroom and I'm choking on blood and can't breathe. Blood trail all the way behind me. Other than that, I slept OK.
I woke up 3 times in the middle of the night and i ask myself when are we going to win the damn super bowl??????????????
Yup! I think I finally passed out around midnight, woke up around 3 for a bit, then up for good by 6. Sucks ass!
I ended up playing video games for about 4 hours after the game to get my mind off things, and ended up only getting about 4 hours. I feel fine though. It's just a game.
I've been saying that for years. The Jets have to start getting home playoff games. They have to dominate in the regular season. 13-3, 14-2, 15-1- that is what is needed. The Jets have now played 10 consecutive playoff games on the road which is easily the NFL record. I had no trouble sleeping because I didn't sleep the night before the game. I puked 21 times between 3:30am and 3pm on Sunday. Food poisoning was the issue. I was completely sapped of strength and was unable to go to work today. The Jets losing wasn't the worst problem I had yesterday.
I didn't want to get out of bed this morning. I slept ok, and legit had a dream of us coming back. Not a lie.
I was on here til 4-5am, also downloaded some pr0n but didn't even want to watch it... so I just stopped the download. Felt tired, hit the sack and the wifey held me exrtra tight cause she knew....
Thanks for the play-by-play on that. Saturday night I got about 3 hours sleep due to nervous anticipation, last night about the same due to disappointment and regret. We were good enough to beat that team.
I walked from Heinz Field to my apartment after the game. It took about 3 hours. I only got sleep out of pure exhaustion.
