Not that I want our young QB to have to learn another offense, but we have got to get rid of shotty. His play calling just sucks. Throwing the ball twice at the end zone when we have our running back moving them backwards and picking up first downs - shotty is an idiot.
some people on here truly are fucking morons. The only reason we were even in the game at the end was because of Mark
I don't think I'll ever understand Schotty. He's solid at times, but then he has these head scratching moments and the "so cutesy they could never work" first quarters. Honestly? He could be a great OC if he weren't so obviously smug about his own intelligence.
D was soft in the first half As always some questionable calls by Schotty. O-line play was poor. Keep our heads up. This hurts too much at the moment No way this was on Sanchez. We got our asses handed to us in the first half. Great rally but no cigar. Run that fucking ball when we were there late in the game
+ 2. And remember this guy is just a 2nd year QB , constantly being named in the same breathe as Brady and Manning.
I said all fucking week I wanted a linebacker underneath to spy him and charge when he got out of the pocket. What do I see instead? Late double coverage by Harris and Scott. Over and over again.
Yeah Ig what a way to let him move up. Middle of the filed was shockingly soft at key times Glasgow signing off I've got to work in 4 hours
rewinding to the 2 minute warning of 1st half may help part answer this question and also stealers being allowed to run 1st half and stop us running :-(
need a different scheme I'd argue. something that gets actual, real pressure on the QB. need a new coordinator. try again next year. the problem is 32 others are trying again too. we had the field narrowed to 4. fuck you schottenheimer you pussy.
At least Folk didn't miss a kick :breakdance: What about Weatherfords shanked punt, I spat JD all over my shag pile
It's so clear he spends all his week thinking about his first drive (which never works), and then just calls simple shit the rest of the way. Which obviously works when he doesn't have time to think.
Where did you go wrong? You expected to win, you talked like you won the SB before the season began. You placed way too much importance on beating the Pats and forgot you needed to win 2 more games. How you rebound next year will tell what kind of Organization you really are. I will admit, you gained a tiny bit of respect with that second half effort.
The team wasn't ready on both sides of the ball. No intensity. Pittsburgh came out in a rage... played with a vengeance from the start. We didn't. There is a pattern here. We've had way too many slow starts this year... especially offensively. I'm sick and tired of it.. of playing catchup. The one major thing that has to change next year is we need to come out of the tunnel firing on all 8 cylinders, especially on offense, and I don't know how coach Ryan can address that. I guess the best way to address it is to use this season as a teaching example.
Pouha was nursing a broken hand in the first game with Pittsburgh and vowed to stop these mothers this time. We gave up more rushing yards than we did in December. That roughing the kicker call was absolutely brutal. Even though we got the ball back it shaved crucial time off the clock. D in the first half sucked balls. That last Steelers td in before the half killed us. We'll be back.
