I've absolutely given up trying to predict a player loss of the Pats leading to a collapse. They have been jettisoning players for years now and they always find a way to fill the gap and win. If Belichick was a good drafter, they would be unreal. But he has had sporadic drafts at best, despite loading up on picks every year. Last year was very good, but before that, hit or miss at best.

With no threat from a receiver like Moss having a receiver like Welker is almost pointless. The Pats have no one to spread the field, and it took Rex out-coaching BB to help him realize this. It's all well and good when you jump out to leads or stay close, but when they needed a quick score they could not get it. It happened in Cleveland too. As much as the fans love the NE TEs, they aren't a deep threat. If you can't spread the field why have Tom Brady playing Pennington type football, it's a waste of talent.
Those draft picks will be young as well as their defense was this year. The problem is Brady isnt getting any younger

You are exactly right. he runs with any little rumor and posts it as fact, and in the 1/10000000 chance it does happen, he then boasts that he was right.
Not follow the logic here. Pats young defense, youngest in the league only gave up 8 more points than the Jets last year. Pretty much all of them are through drafts. Patriots are also very well managed cap-wise, unlike the Jets, and have 6 picks in first 3 rounds versus 2 for the men in green. I'd take where the Pats are in the next few years over the Jets as far as draft picks and cap space are concerned.
