Yea I've had about enough of your trolling and personal attacks. Please stay off the Jets bandwagon when they win Sunday.
good for you, the 'ol Jerry Jones tickets in advance ploy. didn't work out for him, and it's not gonna work out for you.
"embrace for a letdown" this kid is gold. edit: BANNED??!?!" damnit! he was just getting good (i.e. stupider)
Not sure if this was raised anywhere, but Lupica wrote something for the Daily News yesterday, and he opens up basically by saying the Steelers are the best team we'll face in the playoffs. Why is it that every team going against us is suddenly "the best"? Last fucking week, all I heard was how the Pats were basically unstoppable. Now I'm hearing similar shit about the Steelers (a team we beat and a team that did worse at home this year than it has done on the road). Pretty damn annoying. Steelers are a good team. Jets will beat them though.
The Bears and Packers are already the best teams we'll face too. After 2 years of being able to almost mock Rex for his ways, the national media is terrified that we might actually win the whole thing. They've all knocked Rex numerous times and when Rex delivers they will be the assholes.
Ahh. The Steelers aren't as tough as their fans like to think. They have a great defense and their offense certainly has it's clutch moments but they definitely can be beaten. Even by the Jets... Sanchez is going to need to play another good game against a much better defense then the ones he's faced in the playoffs. That said, Polamalu has been known to bite hard on the play-action and get faked out of his jock. The zone blitz is tough but if the Jets can handle it the secondary IS vulnerable. The Steelers offense can certainly score but they've can flounder with the best of them against a good D.
I have a serious question for any Steeler fans who are still around. We get that the Steelers have the top ranked rushing D. But the Jets, despite that, did well running it the last time. Since then while NE's pass D is shakey, their rush D was pretty good, and the Jets did well against them, too. Greene in particular looked very good. So what will Pitt do to prevent the Jets from having similar success as they did the last time running the ball?
Nothing different really. I'd suggest that Lebeau is stressing better execution, ie. wrapping up and maintaining your gaps. It's no secret that the Steelers want to make the Jets one-dimensional Sunday. This would apply only if the Steelers are moving the ball and putting points on the board. I would say that this will not be the case. I expect a close game going into the 4th quarter, which means both teams can still run or throw when they want. Nope, I think it'll come down to whoever makes the big play in the 4th whether on "D" or "O". My take.
I still can't wrap my head around how somebody becomes a Steeler and Yankee fan without being a faggot bandwagoner. I mean that's as bandwagon a combo as you can get
I actually know a guy who unironically roots for the Yankees/Steelers/Celtics (he doesn't follow hockey.) Everyone he shares this with just kind of looks at him waiting for a punchline that never comes. It's kind of sad actually.
