Ironically, probably not as big a concern this week since the Steelers are not a high-powered offense....but they are a great defense (Pats were like 25th overall) and we don't want to take off any quarters.

What I would like to see for a change-of-pace is:

    (1) More 3 WR slots in the 1st Quarter (we use it later in the games mostly).

    (2) Screens: JetsConfidential and Cimini noted how despite the presence of LT, a great line, and good WR's to spread the field, we've been bad at screens all year.

    (3) Shonne Greene Early: Lately, LT seems to be getting ball early, Greene late. Maybe reverse it?

Don't know why, maybe I'm gonna eat my words, but I have a feeling Jets can run the ball for close to 150 this Sunday.

I wouldn't mind another "fluke" kickoff return to start the game

I wanna see the Jets come out and try to run it on them though. If they're successful it's probably gonna be a long day for Pitt because that's their bread and butter on defense.

Jets really should just pound the shit out of them all day.

When we win well have an extra week to rest for the superbowl, so just ground and pound.

They beat the Ravens on gifted turnovers, so lets make them work for it.

LT is like the least fumbling hb in the history of the game so just pound the shit outta it and get pressure on Big Ben.

Yes agreed about shonn greene. He is the power back and should get more play early and pound the rock in. Get that defense tired for LT to start swinging around the outside and make people miss

to win this game, we have to be successful running the ball. Short of the defense literally scoring for us, without an above average ground game our offense will suffer. We need to be the third team to run for 100 yards against the steelers this year. But I'm not worried, the Jets OL is primed to have success. All it takes is one big play on the ground to rip this game wide open. I can't wait to see LT make a DB look silly and Greene to run over Ryan Clark ala Erik Weddle last year. Its going to be great!!

God, I wish the Jets had made this thread look ridiculous...but no TD's since Week 4 ???

That's unreal. I can't recall ANY Jets team going back to 1967 when I followed them that went more than 6-8 games without a Q1 TD.
