Franchez QBs aren't necessarily good. Sanchez will be here whether you queers are going to cry about it or not.

just because he has areas to improve on doesnt mean hes not a franchise qb

FYI, no qb in the modern era has started as few games as sanchez did in college and then been the DAY 1 starter their rookie year in the pros

the success that hes has in his limited time in the league is nothing short of remarkable

It has already been said but with a win this weekend Sanchez will have the most road playoff victories of any QB ever. Some of you can go jerk off to stats i'll take the winning.

Furthermore a win Sunday will put us in the Super Bowl. Second year QB leading his team to the Super Bowl? Better yet, not just any team, but the lovable loser Jets.

    Franchise QB all the way.

I just watched Brady throw a near pick 6 on a screen pass Sunday.

Ok...and this is why you question whether or not Sanchez is a franchise qb? Because he won't lead the league in td's and yards? That's ridiculous

The amount of douchie homerism here is crazy. "Mark Sanchez Franchise QB" is up there with a certain poster last season telling me that Cotch was going to start over Santonio Holmes.

Brees had a long spell before he became elite. Similar in stature and moveability, both have good arms. That is what I see.

Is that what I wrote? Because I did not make that point. Never. Not even close.

He still needs to develop further but anyone who doesn't see that he is this franchise's QB for the next 15 years is the one that is being a douche.

Looks to me like you'e questioning whether Sanchez will be a franchise qb based on his completion % in his second year, while discounting the late game and playoff success. Maybe I'm wrong? I think he's pretty damn close already.

dude, people arent saying hes an elite, top 3 qb in this league, he still has A LOT of work to do ... but he is clearly a franchise qb at this point

    and your "analogy" is terrible

Yes, our QB sucks and we're always in the AFC CG....theirs are much better but they're watching TV in January.

As usual we have the whose who, of nobody gives a fuck, whining about Sanchez.

The Jets haven't had a Franchise QB in 40 years. What the fuck would these dumbasses know about a franchise QB? It's like asking a eunuch his opinion on which is the tightest wettest pussy.

I live in Mission Viejo. Mark went to Mission Viejo high. Used to watch his games all the time. He was on some great teams at Mission. We were ranked number 1 in the country when he was there. He went to a great USC team. Now he is on a really good Jets team. Is it him or is it the teams he has been on?

    Sanchez is a winner.

Sanchez is a huge part of our success.

We wouldn't be in the championship game with Brunell or Clemens.

IMO he has been on a rollercoaster ride. He was almost benched this year. If the Jets beat the Steelers and Sanchez plays a BIG part I will give him props. You know maybe a 90 yd td drive to win the game ,something like Ben did in the super bowl. Then I will be a believer.

How about Sanchez plays like total horseshit, say 9 of 21 passes for 123 yards and two interceptions with a 22.6 quarterback rating, and the Jets win anyway, you know something like Ben did in the Super Bowl....will you be a believer then, you phony fuck?

That was Ben's 2nd year and nobody said he was an elite qb then. What's up with the hostility? "Phony fuck"??

At least I know what I'm dealing with now.

What year is Sanchez in again?

Franchise QB does not mean elite... at least not yet.
