    Well he inherits a good OL, run game and a young QB prospect to work with. The previous regime took care of the first steps of the rebuild, we'll see what this guy is made of.

    Hiring an offensive minded coach and keeping Rob Ryan is what I would have done too. Makes sense.

    someone retweeted, or something that makes it show up on Schefter's twitter, that Rob Ryan doesn't appear to be staying. its speculation, but apparently he's nowhere around the facility and hasn't been in the loop. be interesting to see how the Ryan situation pans out.

    nah, not way off, stuff like that happens ALL the time...the coach just better succeed or Holmgrem will look like a schmo for hiring the nephew of his once long time assistant.

    They're a couple players away from being an 8 win team. The problem is the AFC is stacked. The AFC East has the Patriots and Jets, both teams will be contending for the division crown and 1 wild card spot year in year out. The AFC North has the Steelers and Ravens who also will be contending for the division crown and 1 wild card spot year in year out.
