What's one more shoulder tear for him at this point? I can understand his wanting to try, same with Jenkins. I also don't expect either to last very long.

I wish noodle arm the best. I hope he comes back with a vengeance. Just in another division far far away.

Chad's already like 34-35. He should just give it up. He had his shot in Miami and it didn't work out.

well, he won't be a starter anywhere. Nobody can rely on his arm making it through a game, let alone 16. But I cant see any reason why he cant do what Brunell is doing for us now. If he were to backup a young guy, like say a freeman in TB or a stafford in Detroit, Clausen in Carolina or possibly behind a top pick this year.

that said his shoulder is on the verge of imploding. Chad will be in coaching within 2 years. Can only hope he returns as an assistant QB coach for the Jets.

Not gonna hate on Chad. If he wants to give it a shot good for him. It's not like he is going to be a starter anywhere. I hope if he gets a chance to play that he can end his career walking off the field in one piece.

    He robbed the Dolphins...

Upon being NAMED the starter, he got a $3.5 million or so bonus....

He injuries himself on the first play (lol) and takes him self out of the game after the second play call...

    He should just retire.

Man, I love Chad... guys got great heart and a big brain. But that shoulder. That shoulder if friggin' toast. He needs to pour some sand, water, something on that fire or he's going to have to have his arm amputated.

And you know it is a shame Chad wasn't blessed with Favre's arm instead of his glass shoulder. Funny how that stuff works out sometimes.

You guys owed him for giving your sorry ass franchise the one glimmer of hope they have had in the last decade plus.

I do hope you aren't suggesting that he took the money and ran without being legitimately hurt.

Most of us sane fans realize that season was a gigantic fluke
    1. No Brady
    2. The world's easiest schedule

When we played a real team (Ravens), we thoroughly got raped.

Yeah, funny thing was all of us Jets fans were telling you that BEFORE it happened. Chad is always good for a decent regular season record if he is healthy. At the time the dolphins fans here kept telling us that just because chad could never beat a legit D for us that it didn't mean he couldn't do it for you guys.

It's hard not to feel bad for the guy, even if he is a Dolphin. I would wish him a respectable finish to his career but, realistically, he should just retire and move on to something he can do well without hurting himself. It's kind of funny when you put it like that, though, since Favre's blessed arm cost us a playoff run two years ago.

    Comeback as a QB coach.

That arm won't let him succeed, as great of a person that he is.

He'd be an excellent QB coach. I applaud his persistence.
