"Dallas is right now trying to work out a contract for Rob Ryan to become new coordinator of the Cowboys"
    Jay Glazer

Good for him, lot's of talent there... hopefully (I root for the Ryan duo) this will be his last coordinating job before getting a HC gig.

Patriots to Raiders to the Mangini Browns to the Cowboys.

    Do not like.

That's a huge leap by you...he had an interview and he is their third choice. They wanted to keep Pasqualoni but he took the Uconn job, then they wanted anusky but we went back to the Chargers today so they interviewed Ryan. Maybe they will sign him but to say he is definitely their next DC seems premature.

I thought the Browns were denying him from making a lateral move? Unless Shurmur is going to bring in his own guy....

Very, very smart move for the Cowboys. They could very much be on a warpath next season. Rob Ryan finally has talent he can coach and utilize. Only sad/or cool part is the Ryan brothers will end up coaching against each other again next year. Should be a fun game to watch.

Suddenly don't look forward to playing the Cowboys with Rob Ryan, ad healthy Romo, and a coach with balls.

Ware might get 20+ sacks next year in Ryan's system. That might be a ridiculous defense next year when you combine the stars they have, and that system.

If Rex did not have success with the Jets, would the Cowboys consider hiring his brother? I don't think so. It helps Rex is doing well.
