Didn't see this posted This is sweet after a game like this http://kevin-blackistone.fanhouse.c...ts-dynasty-officially-and-unequivocally-dead/
FYI....Belichick and Brady have never won a SP without Tuck Rules and illegal videotaping. Remember: all the teams they beat in the SB claimed they thought the Pats had their playbook early in the games. Only when they went to a no-huddle or changed up plays did they escape the guessing game.
Let's maybe win the division before we pronounce it dead. However; yesterday did kind of feel like one of those signature moments when little brother finally kicks big brother's ass. Let's hope that yesterday's game was to the Jets what the 2004 ALCS was to the Red Sox in their rivalry against the Yankees.
It seems a lot like that, as well. The 45-3 game was sort of the 19-8 bashing the Sox took, before they did what nobody expected them to do. Here's the difference. When the Sox were bold and brash, challenging the highly favored establishment team, they were considered charming, the lovable "Idiots" in the national media. When the Jets are bold and brash, challenging the highly favored establishment team, they are considered classless, the "loudmouth" Jets in the national media.
Reminds me of the Knicks finally beating the Bulls in 1994, except they don't the excuse of Jordan (ie Brady) not being there.
